Got Dish? Get the DNC live and unedited

obamaI was browsing through my Dish Network channels tonight setting up the new SlingPlayer 2.0 Beta (obtw, SlingMedia has released the beta of the 2.0 version of their player for Windows and its nice) when I noticed channel 211 titled "Democratic Convention Live Feed." As expected, there's just a splash screen at the moment and some cheesy music, but a quick Google search resulted in confirmation that they will in fact be broadcasting a live, unedited feed from the convention to all Dish Network subscribers.

Creator of the "Vote Different" Ad Makes a Statement

The creator of the "Vote Different" ad I blogged about earlier made a statement today. The entire post can be found here, but its clear that he knew what effect his video could have on the future of elections, and on his life (he has resigned from his job). Money quote: "This ad was not the first citizen ad, and it will not be the last. The game has changed."
