Hey. My name is Russell Holliman. I'm a professional project manager by day, and one of the founders of Podcast Ready by night. This is my blog about life on the web, life in general, and random things I find here and there.

Russian Space Shuttle

I took the kids to Space Center Houston today... did you know that the Russians built their own shuttle back in the 80's? I didn't.

it does, but its a lot different. no engines for one thing, so it could carry a lot more. according to the display, it was tested once (unmanned as the cockpit and life support systems were incomplete) but the test was successful, and then the project was abandoned.
