Net Neutrality

The CIO of Amazon just gave an amazingly passionate presentation on net neutrality. So passionate in fact that it came across as a very 'telco-bashing' presentation. I am sure that a lot of what he says has truth, but it was just so negative that its hard to take seriously.
Another point he just made is that the internet ecosystem is the only reason that Amazon as able to grow to where they are today, and that they feel the need to protect such an ecosystem.
"I don't think the phone companies are evil" was one of the final statements he threw out before exiting the stage.
Oh, okay then.
