Hey. My name is Russell Holliman. I'm a professional project manager by day, and one of the founders of Podcast Ready by night. This is my blog about life on the web, life in general, and random things I find here and there.

The Reviews Are In

Well, okay. There is really only one so far. And its not bad.

...Podcast Ready's free myPodder, which makes the whole process as just about as automatic as Apple's -- and one-ups the iPod, to boot.

Okay. Maybe its a little better than "not bad."

Well, I'll be doggone! Neat stuff. I've been trying to figure out how to use my iPod with two separate computers, because I want to keep my music library at home, yet still update my podcasts twice a day (before I leave the house to drive to work, and before I leave the office to drive home). I'd given up and thought about using a PocketPC instead, but myPodder looks like it's a better solution.

I'm still struggling with a few small things. I'm using SharePod to get the podcasts into the iPod's library, but the mp3 tags aren't nearly as slick as the iTunes-managed ones, and the iPod doesn't put the podcasts into the real Podcasts menu. After I've had it up and running for a few days, I'll post a review on my site for iPod users.

Great idea, and I hope it works out well for you!
