If you've been around podcasting for a while, you probably know about openpodcast.org. The concept was simple: call in, or email your MP3 message, and it goes out on a feed for the world to hear. In the early days, it was the way to learn about new podcasts and get some interesting content. Today? Not so much.
Enter Buzz-o-Phone. Similar in concept (except for the email submission part) Buzz-o-Phone lets people call in and rant about whatever is bothering them and their message is placed out on a podcast feed for the world to hear.
From the site:
How to Tell the World What You Think:
- Collect your thoughts.
- Pick up a phone, any phone.
- Dial 1-800-591-5375.
- Listen to the instructions.
- Rant for up to 2 minutes.
- Hang up.
- Reflect on a job well done.
Seems simple enough. So in case you don't have enough things in your life to rant about, or you just want to know that you are not alone, you can subscribe to the feed at: http://feeds.feedburner.com/buzzophone
