0918 "The Next Episode" TPC

I finally did it - I knocked out another episode of the TPC, and this one is a long one. About 30 minutes of chit-chat and Podcast Island news, and about 30 minutes of Treo 650 information.
I'll post more details a little later, but here is a brief list of what was discussed:
- Katrina and Houston
- The Houston Chroncile's exploitive "blog" of the victims
- Three companies are distributing "podcast kits" to the vicitims
- Apple files for protection of "iPodcast" - is this the real reason Adam Curry had to change iPodder's name?
- And speaking of Adam, he's up to his old tricks again. It's a good thing they changed the Terms of Service over at the Podsafe Music Network.
- Some podcasters have started to do the very things that drove me away from commerical radio in the first place.
- Ron Bloom's "Jobcast"
- The Podcast Peer Awards are coming...
