Hey. My name is Russell Holliman. I'm a professional project manager by day, and one of the founders of Podcast Ready by night. This is my blog about life on the web, life in general, and random things I find here and there.

Most Successful So Far

First of all, I would like to thank openpodcast.org for... well... existing. First for the opportunity to be heard, but also for what I learned this afternoon: that they 'ping' audio.weblogs.com, which I think has really helped in getting my poscasts out. I have not yet figured that one out; if anyone has any information and/or instructions I would really appreciate it.

The higher bit rate recording on my phone made today's cast sound much better. The new SD cards was well worth it. Plus I have more storage for my videos. BONUS!

To all that have tuned in I would also like to say thanks. As always, constructive criticism is always welcomed.

Tomorrow, or Sunday (but probably Monday) I am going to see how well I can work sound clips into my cast. Once that is perfected then I am going to try to construct a cast from several clips... this "doing it all in one take" is a lot harder than I thought.
